The Board of Churchill County Commissioners is seeking public-spirited citizens who are willing to serve as an alternate member on the Board of Equalization (BOE). The county is seeking to fill one alternate board term that expires on December 31, 2023. The alternate receives training, and s/he also fills in when a regular board member is unable to attend a meeting.
Persons having real estate or appraisal experience will be given preference in the selection process. General knowledge of computers is required because board packets will be submitted and distributed in an electronic format.
