Law & Motion
The Tenth Judicial District Court will be offering live streaming of our Law & Motion docket beginning May 2021. Law & Motion occurs every Tuesday, generally from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. You will be able to access the Live Streams by clicking on the links below. The video links will only be accessible on the actual days that Law & Motion is scheduled. The Court will post a Law & Motion calendar to accompany the Live Stream on the Monday prior to Law & Motion occurring, no later than noon. Should Monday be a holiday, the calendar will be posted on the Friday prior, no later than noon. Please note, the Law & Motion calendar is subject to change and hearings may not be heard in the order they are listed.
If a Tuesday is a holiday pursuant to NRS 236.015, Law & Motion is held on the next day. There are also weeks during the year when no Law & Motion will be held. Those will be noted as they occur.
We are also offering live audio streaming for jury trials. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, public access is limited for jury trials in order to adhere to social distancing requirements. The live streaming will only include sound at this time, but there will be visible slides that will indicate if the trial is in session, or if the trial is on recess for lunch, and when the jury is deliberating. It is anticipated that we may be able to offer viewing, as well as sound, later this year.
There will be daily links that will provide access to audio of the jury trial for each day. The daily links will only be accessible while the trial is in progress and only on the specified trial dates.
Links to Jury Trial hearings will be posted the day before Jury Trial is set to start.
Please be advised: Jurors and potential Witnesses are PRECLUDED from viewing any LiveStream videos of the Jury Trial to which they are assigned.
Check back for updates.
