A young girl enjoys the mechanical bull at the Fallon Cantaloupe Festival and Country Fair, Churchill County's signature event celebrating all things agriculture, especially our famous cantaloupes. Held annually at the end of August.
The City of Fallon hosts a community Christmas tree lighting (on Maine Street at the fountain) and open house (at City Hall) the first Friday in December.
CCJLS is a three-day event held in the spring at the Rafter 3C Arena showcasing the livestock skills of Churchill County youth. Held this year on April 27-29, 2023. Rules, show schedule and more.
Concerts in the Park, hosted by the City of Fallon and the Churchill Arts Council, are held twice each summer (usually in June and September) at Oats Park.
Parades are held annually on Independence Day and Labor Day through the streets of Fallon. Parades generally start on South Taylor Street at Virginia Street, proceed north to A Street, east to Ada Street, south to Highway 50/Williams Ave, east to South Maine, south on Maine Street to Virginia Street (front of the middle school).
