Churchill County has adjusted its vaccine site from the fairgrounds parking lot to a larger parcel of land just south of Miner’s Road, effective March 10.
Those seeking vaccines should still enter from Miner's Road off of Highway 95 South and follow signage and staff directions to new vaccine site. This new area is larger than the fairgrounds parking lot and allows us to get more vehicles into the area and off the highways.
Moving vaccines to this new site also allows for construction to resume on the Churchill County Civic Center this month while deconflicting the traffic flow for those coming in for vaccines and construction trucks.
A reminder that second doses are offered today and tomorrow, March 10 and 11 at 1 p.m. at the new site. Please bring your vaccine card with you and be prepared to wait in line.
Initial doses of the vaccine for those 55 and older take place at the new vaccine site tomorrow, March 11 at 2 p.m. Quantities are limited. Please fill out the two forms from our website and bring them with you to the vaccine site.
