Stethescope heart

As part of its final offerings as the Churchill County Public Health Department prior to evolving into the Central Nevada Health District, a limited number of COVID and flu testing and vaccine dates will be offered in December.

Testing offered at the Miner’s Road public health site (485 Miner’s Road, Fallon) on:

  • December 1 from 8 to 11 a.m.
  • December 6 from 2 to 5 p.m.
  • December 8 from 8 to 11 a.m.

Vaccines offered at William N. Pennington Life Center, 952 S. Maine Street on:

  • December 5 and 7 from 1 to 4 p.m. for all ages.

Vaccines and testing offered at Miner’s Road on:

  • December 8 from 8 to 11 a.m. for ages 12+.

No immunization or on-site COVID testing will be offered after December 8 for the remainder of the month as staffing changes happen in order to set up the Central Nevada Health District.

In lieu of on-site COVID testing, free at-home rapid tests are available for pick-up or delivery. Call (775)423-6695, option 2, to arrange. Immunizations and COVID testing services also available at local pharmacies.

The Central Nevada Health District will serve Churchill, Eureka, Pershing and Mineral Counties along with the City of Fallon when it is established next month.
